If you have been to the stores lately you’ll notice the skulls, pumpkins, ghouls, ghosts, and fun size candy bars. Halloween is right around the corner. So listen up Boys and Ghouls here are 3 tips and Tricks on how to keep away the Weight and still enjoy All Hallows Eve! Muahahahahahaha! Oh sorry

1. Carry a water bottle everywhere. If you’re drinking lots of water, you’ll be able to stave off cravings from those sugary snacks . A good rule is to drink half your body weight in ounces if you’re going for weight loss. (For example, a 200 pound man would drink 100 ounces of water daily.) We are big fans of the stainless steel water bottles no plastics, better for the environment, and keeps your water cold longer – There is nothing scarier than dehydration wowfitters.

2. If you are going to be drinking stick to lower calorie drinks. Gin, rum, vodka, whisky , tequila, brandy and cognac all come in at around 65 calories, but beware of high sugar mixers and fruit juices that can double even triple the calories. One of my personal favorites is the Cuba Libre. A shot of light white rum, diet coke and, a twist of lime this comes it at about 65 to 70 calories. It takes thirty minutes of running to burn 100 calories so think of that before you down that Margarita this Halloween.

3. The last and most important Tip wowfitters is Forgive yourself. Everybody loves candy. If you have a piece, just enjoy it and then let it go. Don’t start a downward spiral of self-loathing over a Hershey’s bar. Not stressing reduces the stress hormone Cortisol which can make you hold onto belly fat. Take a deep breath and enjoy the holiday and relax.

Follow these Tips Boys and Ghouls and you won’t be scaring any Trick or Treaters or breaking any mirrors.
